We Believe :)

There’s a woman crying out tonight
Her world has changed
She asks God why
Her only son has died
And now her daughter cries
She can’t sleep at night

Downtown another day for all the suits and ties
Another war to fight
There’s no regard for life
How do they sleep at night
How can we make things right
Just wanna make this right

We believe(x6)
In this love

We are all the same
Human in all our ways and all our pains
(So let it be)
There’s a love that could fall down like rain
(Let us see)
Let forgiveness wash away the pain
(What we need)
And no one really knows what they are searching for
(We believe)
This world is crying for so much more

We believe(x6)
In this love

We believe(x5)
In this love

So this world is too much for you to take
Just lay it down and follow me
I’ll be everything you need
In everyway

We believe(x6)
In this love

In this love
We believe
In this love
We believe
In this love
We believe
In this love

This song has meant so much to me since the first day I heard it. It gives me incredible and unexplainable bounds of hope. Hope for this world, this life and all the people on this earth. There is often tragedy and pain in life, but none of us are alone. We all have a friend to go to, a shoulder to cry on, and a person to believe in, and most importantly, someone who believes in us. You may not even know who these people are ...but every single one of us has one.

We are all the same.
Human in, all our ways and all our pain.

We are all so very different, but we can find so much about us that is very much the same. The greastest comfort is to always know you're not alone. There is a 100 percent guarantee that no matter what you go through you're not alone and definitely not the only person who has experienced it. I'll never forget this speak conference I went to back in October. We did this activity and i'll never forget what it taught me. There was probably 50 kids there from the different schools in my area. The lead guy stood up on a chair and told us one side of the room was agree, the other was disagree and the middle was neutral. He made tons of statements...I have a best friend, I believe my teachers want the best for me, I feel safe in my school, I have a best friend, I have two parents in my household...and he also made some tougher statements.. I believe it's okay to do drugs, I know someone who died because of cancer, I know someone who has been abused and not reported it, my friends have no idea who I really am, Abortion is the woman's choice...

This activity was a lot for me to take in. I watched all the people go back and forth according to their viewpoints, and many people in my own school surprised me with their answers. The thing I noticed most about this activity was this....There was about 50 kids in that room and many diverse statements were made. Students made their way back and forth accross the room several times...but not once, during all of those questions, not even once was a single person in that room standing alone. Every single experience and statement that was mentioned had at least two people that agreed. And all of those students there were within a 50 mile radius and no one was alone. Only 50 miles. Just think of the whole world and how many people have experienced the same things as you. That is something very empowering to think of next time you're feeling alone. Sometimes you feel alone...regardless of having a million friends, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a family ...anything. Sometimes you feel it, I certainly know I have. It can be fleeting, and it can stay around and become a friend you know well...but I just pray that no one ever feels that for long. The feeling that you're truly alone is so very untrue. No one is alone. I truly believe that...with my whole heart.

There's a love that could fall down like rain
Let the goodness wash away the pain..

There is always more to do and always ways to help better things. Just like the song says...there is a way to get rid of the pain and there is love. Gosh, is there love. It could fall down like rain...over everyone. Love is The Ultimate Gift. I challenge you so strongly go out and be that love and be that goodness. Reach out to those around you and help them when they're hurting. And if you're the one hurting but don't let others in, please let them in. I guarantee they are yearning for you to reach out to them as much as you are yearning to do so. We are on this earth for the love and interaction with all of the other people here and we can do so much to positively impact the people in our life. Take the challenge, be the love, and let all of the goodness overflow the pain. Overflow with love and goodness and the pain will be overcome. Love always wins.
